Community Service Event Photography

Volunteering through the Orlando Camera Club for the Rep Theater has been an amazing opportunity. We were asked to take photos of their festival which showcases the upcoming season. Although it was a hot and humid day, tents, shade trees and large fans made it bearable. It was fun shooting the kids as they had their faces painted, played games, did crafts and tried on costumes. There were also actors in costume and entertainers to photograph. Everyone was so appreciative of us being there and taking pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

Challenges:

• Many people and trying to isolate subjects.
• Using fill flash
• Getting low for the shots of kids

Rays Game in St. Petersburg
