The Orlando Camera Club held a fieldtrip, photo shoot in conjunction with Join the Applause which is a one day worldwide photo walk to celebrate God's beauty in nature. The sunrise was not as spectacular as it usually is due to the heavy cloud cover, but it was a beautiful and relatively cool morning. The beach was fairly empty except for several kayakers and fishermen. After shooting at the beach, we drove through Black Point Wildlife Drive. The drive is a seven-mile self guided drive with many areas to pull off and observe the wildlife. Birds are not plentiful this time of year but we did see many great egrets,great blue herons and several roseate spoonbills.
