A recent trip to Pennsylvania for a Longwood Gardens Photo Workshop lead by Mike Moats.
We had a nice small group of five and spent two full days photographing flowers, plants, and macro mostly inside the Conservatory.
Longwood Gardens consists of over 1,077 acres in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania in the Brandywine Creek Valley. The gardens consists of 20 outdoor gardens and 20 indoor gardens within 4.5 acres (18,200 m²) of heated greenhouses, known as conservatories. We spent most of our time inside the conservatories since the weather was more controlled. Wind is an enemy when doing macro and flower photography. The windows can be opened so there was some wind but better than outside.
